Calculus

Sir Isaac Newton was not only considered as the most influential person in science history but also in field of mathematics.
Let us get to know him. He was born on January 4, 1643 at Woolsthorpe by Colsterworth Lincolnshire, England. He both lived and died in that country. He has accomplished a lot of things.

It was believed that Sir Isaac Newton had developed the study of Calculus. He was regarded as the father of Calculus wherein he called it fluxions. While Newton developed it another person also independently developed this also at the same time. Along with Gottfried Leibniz he shares the credit on the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus.

A little background of who is Gottfried Leibniz, he was born on July 1, 1646 at Leipzig, Electorate of Saxony, Holy Roman Empire.

Between Newton and Leibniz it was Leibniz work that had actually published before Newton. Newton was afraid that controversy might stir with his revelations. But even they have study the same things they have each different approach with the study and they have different approach.

There more other things that Newton had contributed in the field of mathematics that only some could understand. Among the things that he contributed is Newton’s method, Newton’s identities and also the generalized binomial theorem. He also did an Euler’s summation formula.

Even though some hate math, there are still others that love it so much. Love or hate we all know that our day to day activity has the touch of mathematics.
